An Earthquake Awareness Program was conducted in our school to educate students about earthquake safety and preparedness. The program aimed to make students aware of the causes of earthquakes and the precautions that should be taken before, during, and after an earthquake. Teachers explained important safety measures such as staying calm, taking cover under sturdy furniture, and moving to open areas away from buildings. A mock drill was also organized where students practiced evacuation procedures in an orderly manner. The program helped students understand the importance of disaster preparedness and how to protect themselves and others during an earthquake. It was an informative and useful activity for everyone in the school.
